Our Mission
The Newly Institute is expanding its services into Ontario as part of its commitment to improving access to high-quality mental health care across Canada. Founded by a team of medical experts who identified a gap in accessible and effective mental health programs, the Institute brought together insights from individuals across the country, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, and senior healthcare leaders.
While our physical clinics continue to grow nationally, Ontario services are currently offered virtually, ensuring individuals can access timely, professional support from the comfort of their own homes. Our philosophy remains rooted in rapid access and meaningful progress, helping clients address core mental health and functional concerns with the right level of support.
Psychology and Occupational Therapy in Ontario
The Newly is now offering virtual Psychology and Occupational Therapy services in Ontario. Psychology services reflect our established individual therapy model, providing one-on-one support tailored to each client’s needs.
Our Occupational Therapy services support individuals in building practical strategies to improve daily functioning, manage mental health challenges, and move toward sustainable return-to-work and lifestyle goals. Services are currently available virtually, with Occupational Therapy support focused in the Barrie area and Psychology support serving Downtown Toronto and surrounding communities, in addition to province-wide virtual care.
As we continue to grow our Ontario presence, additional service offerings and team members will be introduced.

Land Acknowledgement
The Newly recognizes that we are visitors on this land and acknowledges the grounds on which we are privileged to gather are located on the traditional lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy consisting of the Kainai, Siksika, and Piikani, as well as the Tsuut’ina, and lyarhe Nakota Nations on what has become the Treaty 7 Territory and Metis Nation Region 3 of Southern Alberta.
Appreciation of the history of these lands on which we live, work, and thrive provides us with an opportunity to acknowledge the past and its impact on the present, so we can move forward together in the spirit of healing as we engage in reconciliation and mutual respect.
