Depression in Canada

Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, 38% of Canadians have reported a significant decrease in their mental wellbeing. The number of adults with significant depression symptoms has increased from 4% to 10% (source: Statistics Canada). Social isolation, fear of the future, loss of loved once, and significant changes in lifestyle have all contributed to an increase in symptoms of depression across the country.

While depression can create significant despair and hopelessness, the volume of research and experience at The Newly Institute makes it significantly more likely that we will help you to overcome it. Our “rapid treatment, rapid recovery” approach means that you can get back to living your life, and we will give you the tools you need to continue living it, and to cope with with whatever comes your way.
