Anxiety in Canada

Generalized anxiety disorder can affect children, youth and adults equally, and anxiety counselling frequently involves months, or even years, of talk therapy, which can lead to a prolonged recovery process and delayed benefits. More than 3,000,000 adults in Canada report suffering from anxiety throughout their lives, a number which has doubled since 2012 (source: Statistics Canada). The largest reported increase was in youth and young adults, particularly women between the ages of 15 to 24 years of age. We believe this mental wellness crisis requires a rapid response.

At The Newly Institute, we offer cutting-edge treatment programs tailored to rapidly maximize benefits. Our Intensive Outpatient Programs offer the highest level of care and require a full-time commitment of five days per week for the duration of our four-week program. The Flex Program is designed people who are currently working or have constraints on their time. For those who require further care, booster sessions are available. The Newly Institute is here for when you need us.
