Tanya is a Registered Occupational Therapist whose educational background consists of a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Her work experience has included treatment for chronic pain, traumatic psychological injuries, and a wide range of mental and physical health conditions, with the goal of helping clients resume the daily activities that matter most.

She has training and experience utilizing various mental health approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Approaches, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and further. Tanya has always had a strong desire to be a part of the solution in mental health recovery, and looks forward to doing so further with the Newly Institute team.
