Learn more about our new Kelowna clinic

In July, we hosted an open house introducing Kelowna residents, local politicians, and first responders to The Newly’s new clinic at 210-2755 Tutt Street and its unique programs. In addition to having a gym and views of a neighbouring park and its greenery, our Kelowna location is our first clinic to have an on-staff physiotherapist as part of our new chronic pain outpatient program.

We’re proud to have been awarded contracts from both WorkSafeBC and the RCMP in British Columbia. We are also now serving the public, offering various outpatient programs to help anyone in the Okanagan region get rapid access to care and relief from their symptoms.

“Here at the Newly Kelowna, we have been able to provide a holistic approach to wellness for those facing challenges associated with PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use and persistent pain,” said Sylvia Poitras, manager of our Kelowna clinic. “The interdisciplinary team works together to provide person-centred care in a safe and welcoming space in the heart of Pandosy.”

The Newly team is gearing up to open our latest clinic in Halifax at 3001–7071 Bayers Road.

Therapy in Halifax

We were recently awarded a contract with the Workers’ Compensation Board of Nova Scotia to treat individuals dealing with gradual onset psychological injuries, effectively helping them heal from bullying and harassment in the workplace. Currently, we are fully dedicated to serving these clients. However, we will be offering our full range of programs to the public by the end of 2024.

“We opened our clinic in Fredericton, New Brunswick, nearly three years ago and are excited to add a second Atlantic location in Halifax this September to support people from across Nova Scotia,” said Tyler Boake, Senior Vice President of The Newly Institute. “Our innovative approach focuses on the root cause of an individual’s mental health concerns and our expert clinicians provide treatments that allow our clients to prioritize their mental health and embark on a transformative journey toward well-being.”
