Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts in Health Sciences and Certificate in Health and Fitness Studies motivated by her interest in movement, health, and curiosity about social sciences and human behavior. Building upon her undergraduate studies, Sarah pursued her Master of Occupational Therapy and practices in both Alberta and British Columbia. Sarah is experienced in Prolonged Exposure (PE), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Occupational Health and Safety, pain management, and strategies and tools to improve engagement in day-to-day life. With an empathetic, client-centered and strength-based approach, Sarah believes in the inherent strength and capabilities of every individual. She empowers those she works with to reclaim their autonomy and rewrite the narratives of their lives with courage and conviction. Sarah embraces collaboration as a fundamental component in delivering optimal care and operates within an interdisciplinary team.
Outside of work, Sarah finds enjoyment in various activities including scuba diving, reading, exercising, and exploring the outdoors with her family.
