Dr. Turner completed his Bachelor of Science in Physiology, with distinction, from McGill University in 1995, and his Residency in Psychiatry from McGill in 2003. He is a Staff Psychiatrist in the Department of Psychiatry, Rockyview General Hospital, and a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary. He is the former Medical Director of the Rockyview Day Hospital Program and Outpatient Service and previously an Alberta and Canadian Psychiatric Association Executive and Education Representative. As an educator Dr. Turner completed a resident-teaching fellowship at the Montreal General Hospital and is an award- winning teacher and supervisor at McGill University and the University of Calgary. Dr. Turner lectures, teaches and supervises medical students and residents in integrated bio- psychotherapeutic approaches in psychiatric care.
