The mind-body connection is a crucial part of any mental health program and treatment. Trauma can affect all parts of the body and typically when mental health declines, physical and leisure activities also decline. The goal with a Mindful Movement class is to provide a space to practice mindfulness with physical movement. This is not meant to be a physically exerting class and no experience is required.

Zen Stretches

This is a space where clients are led through a zen-based stretch class by a clinician where choice and modification of positions are encouraged, and clients can practice whichever poses and stretches they choose.
